    ***This position is a floater position covering shifts due to vacation and shift call out. A PRN premium pay rate will be provided starting at $17 per hour. You should be available 7 days a week between hours of 9am-9pm***

We provide personal care and homemaking programs, professional nursing, geriatric care management, Alzheimer's/dementia care, respite care and other programs, as well as in-home monitoring.

    FLEXIBLE HOURS AVAILABLE Work the shifts that work best for you: weekdays, evenings, overnights or weekends.

    WORK CLOSE TO HOME We have opportunities across DeKalb, Rockdale, Henry Counties BUT we are currently hiring in Lithonia, GA.

    Responsibilities
    • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
    • Assist clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
    • Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
    • Plan and prepare meals
    • Assist with physical therapy exercises
    • Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
    • Perform housekeeping duties
    • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
    • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
    Qualifications
    • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
    • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
    • Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation every single day
    • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
    • Available to work varying shifts, including nights and/or weekends
    • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
    • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
    • Supportive and compassionate
    • High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
    • Take pride in providing high quality care
    • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
