Job summary
We are seeking a Rental Tractor Trailer Driver to deliver and pick up rental equipment to and from our store to the customer's drop site.Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL assigned tractor and trailer combination
- Maintain safe driving record and follow all safety guidelines for operating and loading equipment including the use of proper PPE at all times
- Maintain written and electronic DOT log book to be 100% in compliance
- Take digital pictures of all equipment prior to delivery
- Safely load and unload equipment onto assigned vehicle/li>Inspect all equipment for safe operation and cleanliness as final check before leaving yard for delivery/li>Obtain customer signature on rental contract nd damage inspection sheet at time of delivery on >80% of deliveries/
- Provide familiarization overview of equipment to customer upon delivery/
- Inspect equipment for customer damage nd safe operation before loading from customer location. Take digital pictures of unit tcustomer location nd additional pictures s necessary of obvious or suspected customer damage./li>Demonstrate custmer service in positive manner with fellow employee representing Yancey wth best impression possible t external customers/si>
