    IT Service Desk Technician (Contract)
    SNI Technology has been retained to assist in filling an IT Service Desk Technician role for a great client located in downtown Jacksonville. This is an onsite, 3 month contract role.

    Targeting Hourly Rate: $23/hr.
    Schedule: Onsite during normal business hours Monday-Friday.
    Requirements: Candidates must be located in Jacksonville, FL area. Must be able to pass a Background Check/Drug Screen. and have reliable transportation.

    Summary: This role involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, responding to user inquiries, and ensuring smooth operation of computer systems

    Job Duties:
    • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat or in-person.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
    • Assist users with login/authentication problems, password resets, and access issues.
    • Install, configure, and update software applications as required.
    • Diagnose and escalate complex technical issues to Level II support or appropriate teams.
    • Document all support interactions, including the nature of the problem and the resolution, in the ticketing system.
    • Follow established procedures for incident resolution and service request fulfillment.
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Provide timely updates to users regarding the status of their support tickets.
    • Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software for end-users.
