• The IT Strategist will have a deep understanding of typical Application Development and Maintenance operations in a financial services firm from initial requirements gathering to vendor selection to contracting to performance management.
• The candidate will have experience in management consulting or as a manager of an ADM operation in a corporate environment. The candidate may have experience as a business analyst, developer, architect, and/or technical manager prior to moving into a business management or consulting role.
• The IT Strategist will be familiar with traditional development methodologies such as waterfall SDLC and various flavors of Agile.
• Additionally, the candidate will be familiar with the ADM vendor selection, sourcing, and contracting with experience either running vendors selections or in responding to RFXs as an employee of an SI.
• The successful candidate will assist with and contribute to a large-scale ADM 'Review and Challenge' program in which potential sourcing strategies, ADM vendor proposals and contracts are evaluated for efficiency and effectiveness across several dimensions including productivity, quality, resilience, delivery fidelity, risk, etc.
