Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology Special Procedures position requiring at least 2 years of IR experience and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital special procedures unit specializing in interventional radiology
• Patient population includes those requiring interventional radiology procedures
• Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7am to 5:30pm
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• Perform nursing duties related to interventional radiology procedures in a special procedures unit
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront with the application
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Scrub attire requirements will be specified by the unit
• Holiday coverage expectations may apply based on shift scheduling

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology nursing experience required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• No local candidates living within 50 miles will be considered
• Returning staff must have a two year break from prior permanent employment at the facility before being considered as travelers
