    Position Summary

    HASI is looking for an Analyst/Associate – Portfolio Management to join our team in Annapolis, MD. This role involves analyzing and monitoring our existing investment portfolio and assessing new investment opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct detailed performance evaluations of current grid-connected or behind-the-meter investments
    • Manage data streams from investments and integrate them into the internal database
    • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate economics and risks
    • Collaborate with the portfolio management and investment teams
    • Create reports for management summarizing asset performance and improvement strategies
    • Support investment due diligence processes for debt/equity investments and acquisitions
    • Analyze production, operating expenses, and financial trends

    Education and Prior Work Experience

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business; CFA Charter holder or candidate preferred
    • 2-5 years of experience in renewable energy project finance, valuation, or investment banking in the power sector
    • Proficiency in MS Excel financial modeling and data analysis
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
    • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team player
    • Advanced Excel skills required; familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools preferred
