- Consultative, day-to-day implementation of Twist's global compensation programs in partnership with HRBPs, HR Leadership, and business leaders to support their decision making for hiring, promotions, specific organizational initiatives, and annual compensation programs
- Provide data-driven recommendations for compensation adjustments and incentive programs for all employees (including international as well as exempt and non-exempt roles)
- Strategically and operationally maintain/build equitability in Twist's Total Rewards and Performance processes to minimize bias and ensure consistent and equitable outcomes
- Conduct in-depth, comprehensive compensation analyses to ensure competitive total rewards structures
- Support the advancement of our career architecture, including auditing job content and reviewing job descriptions, to ensure the underlying frameworks accurately reflect resulting compensation guidance
- Partner and collaborate with business leaders and HR team (e.g., Talent Acquisition and HRBP teams and HR Leaders) on compensation philosophies, programs, policies and practices
- Develop solutions for compensation-related issues
- Lead all aspects of our annual compensation planning processes, including the development and completion of compensation cycle reviews and recommendations related to performance, incentives, promotions, and equity
- Enhance and develop effective communication materials to improve the understanding of Twist's compensation offerings for leaders and employees
- Prepare equity documentation for compensation committee review and approval of equity awards (e.g., new-hire grants, annual review refresh equity, etc.)
- Provide partnership to SVP, HR on executive pay decisions
- Provide data and analyses for compensation committee meetings
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to compensation
- Benchmark our compensation and benefits packages against market standards
- Propose improvements and innovations to attract and retain top talent
- Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights and make data-driven decisions
- Leverage your proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel and HRIS, to extract actionable insights from data to inform decision-making processes across the organization
- Generate regular reports for our HR and leadership teams to monitor the effectiveness of our compensation program
- Provide support and information to Finance, Legal, and/or Corporate Communications for compensation-related data in our reports and publications (e.g., 10K, Proxy Statement, ESG report)
- Prepare and submit required compensation reports for continued access to and participation in compensation data availability (e.g., Radford)
- Prepare and submit required reports to ensure compliance (e.g., California Pay Transparency, EEO-1, upcoming EMEA regulations)
- Work closely with business partners, finance, legal, and other relevant functional partners to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to our compensation strategy
- Ensure compliance with country, federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation, as needed
- BA/MBA with business/HR major, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 7+ years of progressive HR/Compensation experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a similar analytical role
- Optimal mix of strong business and financial acumen, analytical skills, and technical skills to be the hands-on driver of day-to-day compensation and equity initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of compensation strategies, job evaluation and architecture methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a high-level of proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, HRIS)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skill; strong aptitude for listening, collaborating, and problem-solving
- Strong administrative skills with a high level of detail orientation

We are excited to announce an opening for the role of Staff Compensation Program Analyst. We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on compensation analyst to join our dynamic HR team. In this role you will implement and run Twist's compensation programs. You will support our HR team and leaders to accurately review and inform compensation decision-making, contribute to our compensation strategies, and ensure compliance with compensation-related regulation.
