    Description

    The Order Entry Specialist will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless communication between Sales, Accounting, and Shipping Departments. This position entails processing incoming sales orders, addressing customer inquiries, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate databases. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

    Essential Functions:

    • Process incoming sales orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Convert sales quotations to sales orders for the sales division, adhering to established protocols.
    • Download and process orders from designated customers using SAP.
    • Handle online consumer web orders efficiently
    • Manage all sample orders, ensuring compliance with approval procedures and entering orders into SAP.
    • Process Employee Purchase orders, verifying balances and pricing orders accordingly.
    • Investigate and resolve customer problems and concerns in a timely manner.
    • Mail out customer accounts receivable statements on a monthly basis.
    • Maintain organized office files and cleanliness of designated areas.
    • Provide coverage for the Customer Service Reception Desk as needed, including phone answering and email management.
    • Stay updated on product information and attend staff meetings as required.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with Sales Department and colleagues to provide assistance as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of prior experience in Customer Service.
    • Bachelors Degree Required.
    • Proficiency in Windows-based programs and experience with contact database and order management software.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational abilities.
    • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in using multiple-line phone systems with voicemail.
    • Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • $57,000-$62,000
    • Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
