    Summary of Program


    Jabil's Summer Internship Program was recognized as one of the Top 100 Internship Programs in the country for 2023 by WayUp.

    This is the result of a holistic and engaging experience that summer interns at Jabil experienced.

    As a result, interns who are a part of this program for summer 2024 will get to engage with members of Jabil's leadership team and participate in events related to professional development, networking & socializing, and community engagement.

    Summary of Position

    Jabil Austin IT Support team needs an intern to assist with general IT support, operations, and projects.

    Intern Duties & Responsibilities

    Responsible for monitoring the IT ticket queue and resolve tickets in a timely manner

    Follow all corporate, regional, and local governance and security policy.

    Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department and encourage input from team members.

    Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e., modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems, instituting automation)


    Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; properly prioritizing issues dynamically.

    Qualifications

    Major(s): Computer Science, Information systems, or other related majors

    Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior, Recent Graduate or Graduate Student


    GPA:
    Min 3.0

    Availability:
    Must be available to work in Austin, TX, from May 20, 2024 – Aug 9, 2024

    Technical Skills:
    Exposure to reporting and software automation techniques

    Programming experience in Python, PHP, or SQL

    Effective Communication

    Self-starter – Ability to drive work

    Skills:
    Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision-Making Skills, & Resilience
