    Description
    Systems Specialist ROCGJP A leading biotechnology company is seeking a Systems Specialist.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, hardware deployment and software enhancements, break-fix hardware maintenance, and qualification of the Hillsboro Manufacturing Plant Infrastructure Devices and Peripherals; including the barcode printing, barcode scanners, and rugged mobile computers.

    The ideal candidate has 2-3+ years of IT Help Desk Technician and/or IT Desktop Support Specialist experience involved in installation, configuration, implementation and/or support of hardware break/fix, operating system, and printing preferably in a regulated industry or equivalent experience.


    Systems Specialist Pay and Benefits:

    Hourly pay:
    $35/hr

    Month Assignment Systems Specialist Responsibilities:

    • Execute hardware and software device installation, configuration, implementation, break/fix support and maintenance, and capacity expansion of barcode printing, barcode scanners, and rugged mobile computers.
    • Initiate, troubleshoot and resolve trouble ticket requests and incidents.
    • Develop and maintain GMP/Non-GMP design documentation and diagrams.
    • Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with current standard operating procedures (SOP) and department procedures.
    • Operate and execute change control process for system deployment and release management of system software across Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) validated and Non-GMP environments

    Systems Specialist Qualifications:

    • 2-3+ years of IT Help Desk Technician and/or IT Desktop Support Specialist experience involved in installation, configuration, implementation and/or support of hardware break/fix, operating system, and printing preferably in a regulated industry or equivalent experience.
    • Strong experience with IT troubleshooting, problem solving, and resolution.
    • Experience with Bluetooth, Wired Ethernet, and Wireless Local-Area Network.
    • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite of Applications.
    • Experience with trouble ticket management system a plus e.g. ServiceNow
    • Experience with Intermec or Zebra Technologies barcode scanner and barcode printers a plus.
    • Experience with Intermec or Zebra Technologies rugged mobile computers a plus.
    • Experience with desktop, printing, server, network troubleshooting and performance tuning.
    • Installation and troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 client workstation operating systems.
    • Must be capable of transporting, deploying, lifting, and moving device peripherals infrastructure equipment weighing up to 50lbs
    • CompTIA A+ certification recommended.
