    SUMMARY

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee production projects for a leading designer and manufacturing company of custom electrical, instrument, and pneumatic control panels. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team, monitoring project progress, managing budgets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and evaluating project performance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage multiple projects from pre-booking to customer final acceptance.
    • Prioritize and direct project activities throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, shipping, and handoff to the customer.
    • Maintain overall responsibility for all details of each assigned project.
    • Ensure assigned projects meet contractual objectives by managing project cost and scope effectively.
    • Act as the primary contact between the customer and the organization, maintaining existing customer relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
    • Provide consultation on proposal development as required.
    • Participate in internal kick-off meetings and lead customer kick-off meetings.
    • Communicate specification requirements to the team and allocate project resources based on initial commitments.
    • Actively manage projects with input from various departments to ensure alignment with internal and external commitments.
    • Conduct project-specific meetings with both in-house personnel and the customer as needed.
    • Follow document management processes for project documentation to ensure compliance with business, contractual, and legal requirements.
    • Manage the scope and deliverables from vendors and subcontractors.
    • Validate project terms, conditions, and commercial viability.
    • Participate and present project status at production meetings.
    • Process customer drawings and establish necessary fabrication, assembly, wiring, conduit, and/or tubing drawings.
    • Ensure proper updating and reporting of project status to the customer.
    • Prepare contractual invoicing, pursue timely payments from the customer, and authorize payments for major buys to material suppliers and subcontractors.
    • Obtain formal acceptance from the customer for all contractual deliverables.
    • Authorize and approve all project shipments.
    • Ensure completion of project closeout activities.
    • Be accountable for the commercial success, customer satisfaction, and delivery of assigned projects.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • An associate's degree in Engineering or a similar degree required. BA in Electrical Engineering preferred.
    • PMP certification preferred.
    • 1+ years of experience in an electrical role or industry is required.
    • 2+ years of experience in project management in a manufacturing environment is required.
