    About the Position

    LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Rheumatology MD in Maine

    We are seeking a board-certified Rheumatologist for a locum tenens assignment in Maine starting Mar 2, 2026. This 120-day opportunity features clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with on-call responsibilities every other week. Join our client to provide essential rheumatology care in a dynamic outpatient setting.

    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm; on call every other week (Monday through Sunday)
    Responsibilities and Duties
    • Provide outpatient care in a rheumatology clinic setting
    • Manage patient consultations and follow-up visits
    • Diagnose and treat various rheumatologic conditions
    • Participate in an on-call rotation every other week
    • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care
    • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
    Additional Information
    • Maine medical license required
    • Board certification in Rheumatology required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
