    POSITION: Family Engagement Coordinator

    DEPARTMENT: Family Preservation Services (Northeast/Southeast KS)

    Starting Salary: $40,000- $46,000 (Annually)

    (Starting salary depends on education and experience)

    RESPONSIBILITIES: The Family Engagement Coordinator works in partnership with DCF to engage families in Family Preservation Services by attending Team Decision Making (TDM) meetings to explain program services to families who need Family Preservation Services. When a family agrees to participate in services, DCF will call the Family Engagement Coordinator to make introductions and do a warm hand-off for increased engagement with families. The Family Engagement Coordinator will educate families and community partners about the services provided through Family Preservation. The position will follow families through services, contacting them before and at initiation of services as well as following up after services have ended to discuss any needs they may have.

    QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in social work or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in child and family services. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
