- 24x7 facility on-call duty
- Monitor and maintain mission-critical equipment and systems to support data center operations 24x7
- Manage vendor relationships
- Interpret technical documents, blueprints, and project plans
- Drive initiatives towards operational excellence
- Lead disaster recovery exercises
- Participate in commissioning efforts and maintain AHJ requirements
- Implement change windows as per company policies
- Assist in power provisioning for customer orders and electrical modifications
- Contribute to off-hours and weekend maintenance activities when necessary
- Generate reports on customer utilization and prepare SOPs for data center operations
- Conduct rounds to ensure equipment operation and cleanliness
- Monitor/alert facility equipment
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
- 5 years of data center experience
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting experience
- Building automation familiarity
- Experience in critical infrastructure environments
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data center operations
- Relevant military or trade experience
- Electrical or mechanical certifications (Associates degree or higher)
- 8+ years of data center experience focusing on building and equipment operation
- High functional/technical depth and complexity
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Walk or Stand for 50% of the time
- Moderate to advanced keyboard usage
- Lift 50 lbs.
- Travel 10% of the time
- The hourly pay range for this position is competitive and dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
