Application Specific Integrated Circuit Microelectronics Engineer
Key Role:
As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic te chn ical consultant to the
Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) , helping oversee the creation and execution of advanced government-funded research and development programs inapplication-specific integrated circuit
( ASIC )
microelectronics. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to impact national security investments through the development of cutting-edge te chn ologies.
Leverage te chn ical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new te chn ologies in support of senior DoD decision-makers.
Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of programs, and facilitating the transition of program deliverables to DoD stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experiencewith analog, digital,
or
mixed-signal integrated circuit design, including in industrial or academic environments
Experience in ASIC physical design, simulation, and verification, including layout through tape-out and board-level testing
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with academic research in novel analog, digital,
or
mixed-signal integrated circuit topologies
Experience with DoD research and development projects
Experience with authoring te chn ical papers and reports for te chn ical and non-te chn ical audiences
Experience with te chn ical project or program management
Experience in a client-facing or consulting work environment
Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154, annualized USD).The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
