    Description


    American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a night shift, weekend-only position requiring 2+ years of recent MRI experience and ARRT certification.

    Details

    MRI unit in a Joint Commission-accredited, Certified Primary Stroke Center hospital
    1 MRI scanner (GE 1.5T Discovery 450) with 1 table

    1:1 patient ratio

    Procedures include MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures (no X-ray involvement)


    EMR:
    Meditech
    12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
    Position requires the ability to work independently with no on-call requirements
    Requirements

    Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
    Current BLS and ARRT certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
    ACLS preferred but not required
    License required if applicable
    Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
    US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
    Two professional references required
    No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
    Additional Information

    Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures using a GE 1.5T Discovery 450 scanner
    Must be able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment; critical thinking and flexibility are essential
    The facility has received 5-star recognition for heart attack treatment for 11 consecutive years
    All black scrubs required
    13-week contract

    American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
