    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet patients warmly as they arrive and depart from our clinic.
    • Ensure professional patient interaction, including verifying patient information, processing payments, and managing scheduling inquiries.
    • Maintain effective communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff.
    • Assist with patient registration and insurance verification.
    • Prepare necessary paperwork for patient visits.
    • Monitor patient flow and communicate any relevant information to the clinical staff.
    • Act as a liaison between patients, guests, and medical staff.
    • Handle patient check-outs, including collecting payments and updating records.
    • Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and stocked with supplies.
    • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
    • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

    Schedule:

    M-F 7:30 am - 9 am (start time may vary)

    8.5-hour workdays with a 30-minute lunch break

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Preferred:

    • Experience as a telephone operator or handling high call volumes
    • Entry-level experience

    Training:

    • New employee orientation
    • 1st Health compliance training (as needed)
