This position will support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Joint Operations Center (JOC) and Special Programs with professional services and operational readiness for the USCYBERCOM mission.
Supporting tasks include but are not limited to current operations planning, Incident/Crisis/Contingency Response support, partnership and integration support, readiness planning support, mission assurance support, emergency management, Command Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning support, System and COP Integration support, and Technical Report - Study / Services.
Requirements DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Joint Cyberspace Operations Planner II will have the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Transmission, receipt, and tracking of all in and outbound official message traffic and orders. 2.
Provide support to include extended workday (more than eight hours per day) during exercise or crisis contingency operations, estimated five to ten times per year.
3.Monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and instructions from higher echelon headquarters and make recommendations to ensure compliance and/or consideration in planning efforts.
4.Develop plans and orders through the application of operational art and operational design, and by using the Joint Planning Process (JPP), within the milestones, deliverables, and interaction points for plans developed using Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) activities.
5.Review draft orders for adherence to USCYBERCOM orders coordination and release procedures, provide feedback to Action Officers, and assist in coordinating drafts and approvals.
6. Train USCYBERCOM personnel on the orders coordination process on a recurring basis to include Orders Coordination Training, Mission Assurance, Emergency Management, and COOP). 7.Provide input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, and assisting in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of combat, and contingency plans and operations initiatives with USCYBERCOM staff elements and components, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), U.S.
Government Agencies, and facilitate a resolution that may span multiple areas of responsibility. 8.Provide input for the development of concepts of operations (CONOPs), Courses of Action (COA), and documents related to cyberspace operations planning and execution.
9.Participate in Joint Planning Groups, Operational Planning Groups/Teams, and Working Groups to capture and ensure Current Operations equities are met.
10. Develop and maintain a tracking system/database of all orders.QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in information systems management, Computer Science, or related discipline (Additional four (4) years of job-related experience may be substituted for education requirement).
DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level III Certification.Specialized education in military joint operations planning through the Joint Professional Military Education Phase I (JPME I) from a Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) accredited joint education program listed in Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction (CJCSI E (The JIOPC, or other similar military operations planning courses, may be substituted for JPME I) Experience:
