    Description

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations to assess blood flow and vascular abnormalities in patients of all ages.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform vascular ultrasound examinations using high-frequency sound waves to visualize blood vessels and assess blood flow.

    Evaluate and interpret ultrasound images to identify abnormalities, such as arterial blockages, venous thrombosis, or vascular malformations.

    Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans based on ultrasound findings.

    Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions.

    Maintain accurate patient records and ultrasound documentation, including image capture, measurements, and diagnostic impressions.

    Adhere to established protocols and safety standards for ultrasound equipment operation and patient care.

    Qualifications:

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.

    RVS, RPHS, or RVT certification under CCI or ARDMS in Vascular Sonography required.

    Proficiency in performing a wide range of vascular ultrasound procedures, including carotid, arterial, and venous studies.

    Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to vascular imaging.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.

    Attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) preferred.
