Job Title: Junior Application Support Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Junior Application Support Analyst to join our team. The Junior Application Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end users of our applications. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support and assistance to end users of our applications via phone, email, or in person.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application functionality, configuration, and usage.
Document and track support tickets and service requests using a ticketing system.
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams or vendors as needed and follow up on resolution.
Assist with application installations, upgrades, and patches as directed by senior support staff.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to reproduce and diagnose software defects.
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of application enhancements and bug fixes.
Provide training and support to end users on basic application functionality and features.
Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation to support self-service and knowledge sharing.
Monitor application performance and availability and escalate issues to appropriate teams for resolution.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service-oriented attitude with a focus on providing a positive user experience.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office, macOS, and common business applications is a plus.
Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices for IT service management is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant internship or work experience in a technical support or help desk role.
Certification in IT support or related areas (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
Experience with remote support tools and technologies (e.g., remote desktop, VPN).
Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA Service Desk, or Zendesk.
