    Minimum Qualifications:

    Academic:

    • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

    Experience:

    • 7+ years of project management experience.
    • Proven track record in managing large-scale software implementation projects.
    • Experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in various technologies and functions.
    • Demonstrated expertise in documenting technical and business requirements.

    Additional Desired Skills:

    • Ability to serve as the primary Project Manager for the School Choice Portal project.
    • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
    • Proficiency in guiding programming staff through complex web-based projects.
    • Strong capability in documenting business and technical requirements comprehensively.
    • Exceptional work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.

    General Requirements:

    • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to learn new tools and adapt to different environments independently.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word) and Microsoft SharePoint.
    • Strong time management skills and ability to estimate project effort accurately.
    • Willingness to mentor technical staff and share knowledge.

    Deliverable Tasks: The Project Manager will be responsible for:

    • Understanding business and customer requirements to drive technical solutions.
    • Coordinating project-oriented work efforts and providing status reports.
    • Establishing project management processes and methodologies.
    • Creating and managing project plans, team assignments, and work efforts.
    • Monitoring project milestones and adjusting plans/resources as needed.
    • Coordinating tests and assisting with acceptance testing.
    • Ensuring compliance with standards and source code promotion processes.
