    Operating on a new 24/ hours Shifts) production schedule, the Maintenance Supervisor role is responsible for the entire Maintenance Manager role at a full-line box plant. Leads and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems.
    Key Accountabilities:
    • Provides leadership to a maintenance team consisting of an MPS coordinator, a purchaser, 12-15 maintenance technicians. Coaches, motivate, and engage work teams to accomplish operational objectives.
    • Responsible for the safety of the maintenance team and ensuring the team follows all safety procedures and protocol and is fully trained on all required safety training and policies. Actively participates in safety committee and encourages maintenance department participation in the safety committee and efforts within facility.
    • Active member of the facility lead team participating as a critical business partner to provide input, assist with decision-making and help facility performance improvements both within and outside of the maintenance department.
    • Leads facility EHS&S initiatives, including but not limited to LIFE initiatives, safety protocols and environmental initiatives/requirements within the facility.
    • Leads selection efforts in coordination with HR support to successfully hire and train a first rate maintenance team.
    Knowledge and Experience Required:
    • 5+ years' experience as a Maintenance supervisor and/or managerial experience coupled with a maintenance technical background
    • Previous maintenance experience working in a corrugated packaging facility.
    • Solid SAP and KIWI knowledge
    • Proven leadership skills that translate well both within and outside of the maintenance department
    • Proven leader of successful predictive / preventative maintenance programs
    • Successful ability to plan, submit and execute capital projects in a corrugated plant
