    • Sign on bonus offered to part-time and full-time positions As the Emergency Medical Dispatcher, you will receive 9-1-1 calls for medical emergencies, rapidly gather relevant information during the call screening process, provide pre-arrival instructions to the caller when applicable and dispatch an appropriate level of EMS responders. Additional duties include the scheduling and dispatching of ambulances for routine and emergency hospital ambulance transport.

      Candidates must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, possess outstanding communication and organizational skills, have the ability to multitask, and are proficient in the utilization of computer-aided dispatch systems (CAD).

    Minimum Requirements:
    High School Diploma Emergency Medical Dispatch certified (Preferably Priority Dispatch) Previous experience in a emergency call/dispatch center Basic Cardiac Life Support-Healthcare Provider Level

    Ideal candidates will have:
    Experience in an active 9-1-1 call /dispatch center Completion of 40 hour Massachusetts Telecommunicator Course (mandatory where applicable)
