    Job Description Salary:
    $55,000+


    Purpose:
    The Document Retention Supervisor will facilitate the management of our records in an efficient and compliant manner. This position will handle high volume scanning projects for prior period documents to current.


    Additionally, this role will oversee a system driven document retention and be responsible for ensuring patient information is accurate and all documents are retained per CMS rules and guidelines.


    Duties & Responsibilities:
    This position is the subject matter expert for record management
    Maintains knowledge of all applicable standards for electronic retention and release of records.
    Maintains awareness of new opportunities for record management that can provide better quality while managing costs.
    Evaluates record retention practices through ongoing periodic audits. Recommends opportunities for improvement.

    Utilizes various technology options including but not limited to Microsoft SharePoint and Office, Hyland Onbase Systems, Iron Mountain and third party systems.

    Maintains the official record of storage including what is stored where, details of storage contracts and destruction plans.

    Starting job duties on time, staying on the job throughout the assigned shift to complete duties properly, and attending all scheduled meetings and appointments.


    Skills & Abilities:
    Excellent understanding of records management principles and practices, and who can bring a passion for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our records
    Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
    Exceptional understanding of electronic records management principles and practices comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.


    Education & Experience:
    Associate's degree in business or related filed preferred
    Minimum of two years of experience in records management and retention
    Strong experience in data document
    Ability to secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance.
