Suarez Physical Therapy is seeking a Part Time Insurance Authorizations Specialist to become an integral part of our team You will take charge of implementing the vision, mission, and core values established by SPT.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring patients are meeting frequency based on auth
• Working on Microsoft Excel
• Calling insurances and workers comp to follow-up on auth status
• Review audits and alert front desk team of potential patient authorization problems
• Reception work: Ansering phones, scheduling patients, scanning, scheduling

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in insurance / workers comp authorizations
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in Physical Therapy
• Prior use of WebPT preferred
