Patient diagnoses:

Variable med-surg unit with focus on cardiac and neurology services.

Stroke certified, hip and knee certified, colorectal cancer certified, ERAS, general surgical patients, occasional GYN surgeries, hospice, cardiac services, pre and post cath, tele neurology, oncology.

Required skills / certs / exp:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years

Traveler Experience:
Unit accepts 1st time travelers

Skills:
IV Start, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Manage Cardiac & Vasoactive drips - no titration.


Certs:
BCLS and NIH


Preferred skills / certs / exp:

ACLS

Unit systems (medication, documentation, communication):
Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
