We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Special Handling Technician will be responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors under potentially adverse conditions as well as within the facility/plant work environment.This is a great opportunity for college students or recent high school grads wanting to gain some work experience.
New wage $29 hour w OT 4- 12 hour rotating days/nights shifts per week , Must be willing to work nights.
Responsibilities
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times Operates industrial equipment included but not limited to forklift Performs general labor throughout the facility to preparing materials for the incineration process Ensures the safety of him or herself as well as those around them Performs manual tasks such as cleaning up spills when necessary while taking all safety precautions necessary to prevent injury
This operation involves significant hazardous waste handling including bulk sampling drum decanting liquid pumping tanker cleaning and confined space entry CF Space Tasks require full protective suits and use of equipment such as Super Suckers and Guzzlers Work is associated with elevated danger and high physical exertion crews rotate in Ty-Vac suite on 1-hour in/1-hour out shifts due to heat workload Materials are wrapped separated transferred to warehouse processing Includes bucket drops Rotary kiln operations baghouse maintenance line cleaning Involves handling sulfide materials with variable pH low/high which are both air- water-reactive Operations occur bays tanker feeds directed Train 2 unit Ash Truck operations deliver manage tankers Follows standard operating procedures Other duties required
