Strategic Brand Development Role

This position supports the Manager, Brand Strategy, in contributing to the development of strategic plans for the Silversea brand. The goal is to ensure current operations align with the brand's current and long-term strategic objectives.

The role will assist with business case development, identifying value-creation opportunities, and help improve brand profitability. As an internal consultant, this position will support cross-departmental projects and analysis, communicate key strategic updates to the management team, assist with prioritizing brand initiatives, and provide analytical insights to drive business improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop strategic plans and annual operating plans across departments.
Guide multi-year strategies focused on profitability, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
Monitor and analyze brand KPIs and initiatives aligned with the brand's five-year strategic plan.
Facilitate monthly brand performance reporting and review to provide actionable insights supporting brand improvement efforts.
Perform revenue, costs, and operational analysis to inform decisions impacting Silversea's long-range goals.
Communicate high-level analysis to support internal stakeholders.
Continuously assess Silversea's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to promote actionable proposals.
Maintain and enhance financial models with different scenarios, and develop alternative approaches to cost, revenue, and guest experience opportunities.
Partner with brand operating teams to support special projects and strategic initiatives.
Size investment and cost savings opportunities.
Prepare senior executive level presentations.
Collaborate with departments on ad-hoc projects.
Support identification, evaluation, and recommendation of new business ideas.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4+ years of finance, business analysis, and/or revenue management experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working effectively with senior management, including executive level presentations.
Experience working on highly analytical projects.
Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Word.
Prior experience managing a team in a similar planning/analysis function.
Critical thinker with a desire to improve processes where appropriate.
Able to build good working relationships with personnel at all levels.
Experience using database query tools.
Strong business writing skills.
