The Assistant Director of Maintenance assists in overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department ensuring that facilities equipment and grounds are maintained to company standards. This role supports preventive maintenance programs repairs and renovation projects while providing leadership and direction to maintenance associates.
Essential Functions
Assists the Director of Maintenance in planning coordinating and supervising daily maintenance activities for the property Ensures preventive maintenance programs are executed and documented in accordance with standards Supports maintenance repairs to buildings equipment electrical mechanical systems plumbing HVAC and other maintenance areas Leads and coordinates special projects such as renovations remodels facility upgrades and large-scale repairs Collaborates with store management vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests Assists in training coaching and developing maintenance team associates Maintains accurate records reporting related to safety compliance Assists with scheduling assigning work orders ensures tasks are completed efficiently Provides support during emergency situations responds as needed All other duties assigned.
