    Field Trip Counselor

    Job Description:

    • Spend your summer working with elementary school aged youth in our Camp Fire Alaska Summer Adventure Camp, a day camp program operating Monday - Friday at five locations throughout Anchorage and Eagle River.

    In this role, you'll ensure the safety and positive engagement of youth during field trips and off-site activities. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate attendance, enforcing program expectations, fostering an inclusive environment, communicating effectively with staff and partners, and responding to behavioral concerns or emergencies by following established policies.


    Key Activities:

    1. Plan and participate in weekly field trips out to Camp Fireweed for outdoor adventures such as swimming, boating, archery, rock climbing,
    2. Organize transportation logistics for field trips,

    You will serve as a positive role model while ensuring adherence to program schedules. This position requires collaboration with fellow counselors and specialists to safely support & guide youth during field trip experiences.
