    Job Summary
    Provides hardware and software support for staff and students in a school. Responsible for in school repair of devices along with trouble shooting classroom technology applications as needed. Attendance, physical presence, and timeliness are required and are essential functions of this position.

    Essential Functions
    • Troubleshoot and repair devises on premise. This includes PCs, MAC, Chromebooks, various laptops, printers, and copiers.
    • Work with staff at the school to troubleshoot classroom technology such as smartboards, and other classroom audio/visual equipment.
    • Provide basic network troubleshooting in the school.
    • Install, provision and update software on devices using the desktop management platforms in use by the district.
    • Proved basic support for staff and student computer accounts.
    • Give guidance on basic application installation and troubleshooting for all district supported applications.
    • Manage and reset Access Points in the school as needed.
    • Work with Network Engineers in supporting the school network infrastructure.
    • Support IP and USP based phones.

    Required Education and Qualifications
    High school diploma or equivalent
    Required Certifications
    • A+ Certification or willing to obtain within six months
    • Microsoft 365 Certification: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or willing to obtain within 12 months
    Preferred Certifications
    • G Suite Certification
    • Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE)
    Required Prior Experience
    • Minimum of 3 years hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
    Required Knowledge and Skills
    • Repair of computers, standard printers, and multi-function printers and/or copiers.
    • Ability to manage Active Directory accounts.
    • Excellent communication and public relations skills.
    • Knowledgeable in the use of the following applications:
      • G Suite/Google
      • Office 365 Applications and Administration
      • Ivanti
      • LanSchool
      • Canvas
      • Discovery
      • Gradebook
      • Blackboard
      • Optiview -filebound and attached scanners
      • Curriculum applications used by the district
      • Other software in use by the district and school
