- Providing individual and group counseling sessions to clients.
- Conducting intakes and assessments to determine level of care.
- Developing treatment plans based on bio-psychosocial evaluations.
- Charting client progress and monitoring treatment effectiveness.
- Involving family members in the treatment process.
- Fulfilling additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.

Job DescriptionA reputable out-patient facility in the heart of Brooklyn is looking to immediately hire a Full-time Substance Abuse Counselor (LMHC/LMSW/LCSW) with CASAC credential and experience in alcoholism and drug treatment. Salary is $50K-$65K a year plus a hefty employment package that includes PTO and full health insurance.
