Description

Occupational Therapist Assistants are required to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Essential Requirements

• NBCOT certification is preferred for this position. However, renewal may not be mandatory.
• Candidates must have graduated from an accredited program in occupational therapy.
• A current registration or licensure in their state is required. The license should remain active throughout employment.

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works collaboratively as part of a healthcare team to meet patient needs and develop treatment plans tailored to individual requirements.
