    Description
    ITS has a client in the Delta, OH area seeking a Quality Supervisor. This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k.
    Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesFoster a culture of safety awareness and safety prioritization.
    Develops product quality planning for parts processing, determining inspection method and gage suitability for inspection processes.
    Creates, Implements, and analyzes product and process metrics to determine where projects should be focused for improvements. Works hand in hand with assigned manufacturing engineers on process improvement projects.
    Reads understands customer specifications and drawings to become the deciding authority on compliance of parts.
    Serves as point of contact for customers on all quality related issues.
    Functions as the manufacturing quality lead to resolve product or process problems on the manufacturing line.

    Trains and assists manufacturing personnel, and inspection personnel with the interpretation of complex part prints and specifications, ensuring that the team clearly understands the customer requirements.

    Maintains all material testing plans for customer compliance and develops testing plans for receipt of raw materials.
    Performs regular process, product, and dock audits. Ensures that audit results are communicated and used to drive improvement.
    Communicates and corresponds with management within the company regarding quality issues, problems, and complaints. Formulates and presents data to key stakeholders and advises action to take for improvement.
    Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

    Job RequirementsEducationBachelor's (preferred)High School diploma/GED or equivalent (required)Experience & CertificationsAt least five years of Quality experience in a manufacturing assembly operation is required.

    Tube Mill experience a plusWill have the practical knowledge and ability to apply problem solving / statistical analysis; train and / or reinforce manufacturing associate skills in the basic fundamentals of drawings, GD&T, Shop Math, and SPC.Experience using different types of gages (CMM operation and Programming) and gage calibration is required.

    Basic blueprint reading skills are required.
    Strong organization skills are required.
    Strong math skills are required.
    Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Must be able to work in a team orientated environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
