Railcar Cleaner I

Guardian Rail operates one of the country's leading freight rail services and transportation companies with a large network of facilities, a nationwide network of running repair agents, and a rail division that operates short line railroads and contract sites.

Incumbents clean rail cars, inspect equipment used in cleaning, read work orders, make safe confined space entries while wearing PPE to comply with Guardian Rail EHS policies. Inspect clean interiors for compliance with customer requirements complete checklists as required.

Duties

• Interpret job work orders to perform cleaning per procedures
• Clean rail car interiors efficiently within assigned hours
• Notify supervisor of materials/equipment needed to ensure completion
• Work safely and interact positively with crew members/supervisor
