- Provide leadership, vision, and architecture design for the front and back end of an internal platform's portal that is used across multiple teams and organizations.
- Own design and implementation of features for complex projects, including architectural and feature specs to drive customer success through delivery of high-quality code.
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to discuss and define requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Receive and offer technical feedback through pair programming and code reviews.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science (or equivalent experience) with at least 3 years demonstrated experience in building and deploying production web applications or interactive websites.
- Demonstrated mastery in software development and debugging
- Profound skills in JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with either: Spectrum Web Components, , React/JSX, Vue, or equivalent UI frameworks.
- Experience working with sophisticated application state, e.g. MobX, Apollo Client, Redux, or similar
- Basic knowledge of web concepts such as DOM, canvas and WebGL rendering, web security, asynchronous programming, workers, and performance optimization.
- Ability to independently deliver a product feature, covering the full cycle from requirements to deployment.
- Must be meticulous and demonstrate initiative and high self-motivation. Enthusiastic, creative and positive.
- A keen eye for visual and web design and a fervent passion for applying CSS and contemporary techniques to construct visually dynamic and interactive experiences.
