    Description

    Job Description:
    Prepares patients for procedures, assumes responsibility for patient needs during procedures.

    Performs procedures with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner, adhering to the protocols outlined in the department's procedure manual upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist.


    Education:
    AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology - RequiredCertificate Venipuncture - Required if performing CT or within 6 months of assuming positionExperience:

    Additional Experience Requirements:
    Maintains and acquires CE units as required by the State/National agenciesCertifications/ Licensures:Radiologic Technologist - Certified (CRT)

    Current California
    • RequiredCRT Fluoroscopy
    • California Department of Public Health
    • Radiologic Health Branch – Required.
    For new hires, the technologist must obtain a fluoroscopy permit within 6 months.
    BLS Basic Life Support
    • American Heart Association
    • RequiredRad Techs
    • ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
    • RequiredCRT Mammography – California Department of Public Health – Radiologic Health Branch
    • Required if performingMammography
    • ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
    • Preferred if performingWork Shift:08.
    0 - Per Diem Days No Waive (United States of America)

    Pay Range:
    $ $77.49HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure

    Note:

    Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.

    The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
