Join Cleveland Clinic's G80 Complex Medical Care and Nutritional Insufficiency Unit as a Registered Nurse and experience being a part of a nationally ranked hospital while building an exceptional career.
On our G80 Complex Medical Care and Nutritional Insufficiency Unit, you will be caring for adult patients with complex multi-system failure issues, such as congestive heart failure and sepsis.
You will also be taking care of patients with Nutritional Deficiencies, which is unique to our G80 unit.Many of our patients also require ongoing cardiac monitoring, so you will be trained in Cardiac Dysrhythmia and EKG interpretation.
This position is working a Day/Night rotating or a Night shift schedule; 12 hour shifts being 7a-730p / 7p- 730a.
Our nurses also rotate every other weekend and every other holiday.At Cleveland Clinic, we know what matters most.

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans.Monitors and documents patient's condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Provides teaching and educational material as appropriate.
Validates and documents patient and family understanding of teaching.
Maintains professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Work Experience:
Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings.
Personal Protective Equipment:
~ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
