    Description
    Direct supervision for assigned line production staff (approximately Verify daily & weekly payroll time sheets for all team members in the department as assigned.

    Responsible for daily & weekly paperwork such as but not limited to:
    attendance; vacation requests; disciplinary actions; yield & production reporting.
    Be familiar with the various types of machinery & processes in the assigned department.
    Ensure that all product produced is of the highest level & standard of quality. Physically inspect products for both natural occurring & processing defects.
    Effectively communicate with team members, fellow supervisors, & managers.
    Proactively seek the opportunity to help fellow team members, as well as opportunities to improve processes.
    Know & comply with all written Corporate safety & plant policies.
    Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene & cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
    Follow the written specification for packaging & labeling of products.
    Identify & report any suspicious situations to immediate supervisor or plant management official.


    Abnormal situations would be:
    Product tamperingWillful product adulterationUnauthorized employees in restricted areasSituation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurringEquipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stakePerform other duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications and Requirements :
    1-3 years leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory role in the poultry industry.
    Ability to multi-task & set priorities.

    Must be able to stand & walk for long periods of time.
    Standing/sitting/walking 100% of the workday.

    Must be comfortable working in organic conditions.
