Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence throughout the facility. This is a driving post. You will provide outstanding customer service, support access control, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual situations.

Monitor the premises for security-related concerns and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.

Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal policies and client expectations.

Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
