Responsibilities Assesses delivers and documents respiratory care to include pulmonary hygiene and airway management and performs diagnostic exams as necessary. Manages all patients on ventilators and related life support equipment. Performs routine blood gas analysis. Assesses plans and evaluates the patient plan of care utilizing multiple respiratory modalities respiratory therapy driven protocols and advanced ventilation techniques.
Qualifications
Minimum
High School Diploma/GED and Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program

Must hold and maintain:
AZ Board of Respiratory Care Examiners License;

Certified Respiratory Therapist-CRT from National Board of Respiratory Care;

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support;

American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; and

American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Preferred

RG RRT
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.

This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Pay Range

$ $42.28 /hour
