    Position Summary Information

    Position Summary

    Three-year initial term, non-tenure track position as Professor of Practice in Cybersecurity.


    This position will require a strong background in the disciplines of both Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) and offensive cyber operations including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.

    The professor will have a four-course teaching load each semester, as assigned by the program director, distributed across undergraduate and graduate level courses.

    Teaching will be conducted in both on-campus and online classroom environments.


    In addition, the following will be required: service to the Utica University community by serving on faculty committees as requested by the Dean; attendance at all faculty meetings including School and Faculty Senate; appropriate published office hours as approved by the Dean; willing to provide professional and academic support to students; and curriculum development.

    Master's degree required. Relevant professional certifications preferred.
