    Reports to: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

    Job Class: Salary Exempt

    Pay Rate: Dependent upon experience

    Position Summary:

    The program manager will lead multiple key programs ensuring schedules are met while providing technical expertise in assembly / testing requirements and interfacing with customers and inspectors as needed.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate all aspects of assigned projects from beginning stages through completion and shipping.
    • Interact with customers and inspectors as required for all deliverable items, front end engineering discussions and any post deliverable concerns.
    • Work with planning and production management to derive schedules and Gantt charts as needed.
    • Work with engineering during concept and design stages to review potential projects and create costing and schedule timelines.
    • Create Technical data packages and PIDs (process identification documents) and ensure that these are reviewed and approved by customers.
    • Create production level documentation as needed to support all projects.
    • Create drawings for piece parts, instructions, etc. as needed to support project.
    • Read and interpret military and space standards, creating test plans to meet the requirements.
    • Create other test plans and procedures as needed.
    • Create final and intermediate reports as needed.
    • Analyze electrical data, creating customer level reports.
    • Work with design engineering to create MTBF and other engineering reports as needed.
    • Work with Quality to resolve non-confirming material and issues in conjunction with open projects.
    • Oversee and follow-up on any open actions for any project.
    • Report to management and sales weekly status for all open projects.
    • All other reasonable duties, as assigned.

    Knowledge, skills, & Abilities:
    • Knowledge of electronic component and assembly design and manufacturing
    • Knowledge of Space and military requirements
    • Ability to write detailed reports performing electrical data analysis as needed
    • Demonstrated detail and process-oriented capability
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to work with a diverse and complex team
    • Ability to drive program improvements and implement change
    • Strong communication skills and experience interacting with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and senior executive leaders
    • Strong customer relationship and management skills
    • Knowledge of EPR, Metrics and Process/Project Management
    Education, Experience, & Training:
    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E)
    • Experienced in the RF electronics field a plus
    • Experienced and trained in program management execution
    • Experienced in reading and interpreting military and space standards
    • Experience managing development and production programs
    • Experience working with and managing suppliers and test houses
    Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
    • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
    • Security clearance preferred
    • Must be able to work on ITAR data without license
