Job Title: Shelter Advocate

Provide trauma-informed services and support to individuals who are experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence and/or homelessness.

• Provision of woman-defined, empowerment model-based services.
• Crisis hotline call answering and assistance with safety planning, crisis intervention, education, information/referral.
• Triage requests for shelter services and completion of Lethality Assessment as needed.
• Crisis intervention, safety planning & ex-parte applications assistance for walk-in victims of domestic &/or sexual violence.


• New shelter residents intake paperwork completion & orientation






• aids in ensuring the well-being&the residence within the premise. 

group living needs/issues assist&&lies/conflicts resolves /mediates appropriately Msviting efficiency while maintaining overall environment.
