PTA Physical Therapist Assistant, Home Health - Wailuku, HI

- This job is responsible for assisting physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and providing selected physical therapy procedures to patients. The PTA must be able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with patients, families, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- The PTA will assist the physical therapist in implementing designated parts of the treatment plan and modifying specific procedures based on changes in patient status within scope established goals. They will also document conferences with the therapist regarding patient progress.
- The main responsibilities include greeting patients establishing rapport communicaing clearly addressing concerns about care planning quality services access fiscal accountability measuring results interpreting data reporting findings summarizing key points making recommendations improving outcomes achieving desired results managing resources efficiently maximizing effectiveness minimizing waste ensuring continuity compliance adherence performance standards.
