    Product Owner Position Available

    Direct Hire Opportunity

    Location: Downtown Dallas (Hybrid)

    Responsibilities:

    Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and external customers to gather and prioritize current and future product feature requests.

    Define, document, and maintain business processes, functional and non-functional requirements for agile and non-agile projects and features in coordination with internal customers.

    Work with support groups to classify customer product feedback into defects, issues, or enhancements.

    Engage in Program Increment planning, backlog refinement, and ensure the team backlog is updated accordingly.

    Craft user stories and develop acceptance criteria for stories, providing necessary clarifications to assist the team with their estimations.

    Represent the business perspective during iteration planning, ensuring engineering teams comprehend and meet business expectations.

    Grasp the scope of upcoming enabler work, collaborating with architects on decision-making and sequencing of critical technological infrastructures enabling new business functionality.

    Showcase product features at sprint demonstrations to end users, managers, and executives.

    Requirements:

    2+ years of experience in agile development, business analysis, or as a product owner.

    Profound understanding of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

    Strong work ethic, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in managing risks or issues.

    Capability to prioritize tasks and deliverables effectively.

    Understanding of current technical architecture and designs.

    Ability to influence and collaborate with others to achieve desired outcomes.

    Excellent communication skills, adept at articulating complex technical and functional concepts to diverse audiences.

    Proficiency in testing and validating functionality as a proxy for business and technical teams.

    Innovative problem-solving approach and willingness to implement solutions from various perspectives.

    Takes accountability for commitments, learns from mistakes, and utilizes them as opportunities for growth.

    Experience with SCRUM or SAFe methodologies.

    Familiarity with tracking, testing, source control, and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Wiki, SharePoint, and Teams.

    Knowledge of user experience and interface design, along with usability best practices for customer portals, and proficiency in wireframing tools like Axure or Figma.

    Experience in documenting as-is and to-be process flows using BPMN and narratives.

    Previous exposure to a Data Governance environment.

    Strong grasp of IT standards and best practices.

    Possesses extensive product/technology/industry knowledge.
