- Shift Differentials Position Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree: HCW shall have an Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Experience: Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as an RN working in an inpatient intrapartum (Labor and Delivery) setting within the last two (2) years.
- Certification/Licensure:Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in any one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Possess and maintain Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). Possess and maintain certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Possess and maintain certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Possess and maintain certification Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) or Emergencies in Clinical Obstetrics (ECO). Possess and maintain certification Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) or Emergencies in Clinical Obstetrics (ECO). Possess and maintain STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work and Emotional Support Program) certification.
- Licensure/Registration: Shall have and maintain a valid, unrestricted state license in any state in the United States, District of Columbia, or the territory of Puerto Rico to practice medicine. The licenses and registration must be renewed and maintained in a current status during the life of the contract.
