Job Details:

Work varied schedule in cardiac catheterization laboratory
Required to wear teal scrubs
Must have experience in scrubbing procedures
Current, valid RN license required (state of practice, temporary/interim, or compact licensure)
BLS certification required
Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
Recent experience within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients
Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
Review patient history, diagnostics and laboratory data
Formulate and implement individualized care plans
Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
Provide patient and family education
Must possess physical agility and adequate reaction time for emergency situations
Able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
