    Job Details:

    • Work weekdays with variable weekends required
    • Minimum 1 year of experience required
    • Pharmacy residency training required
    • Acute/Inpatient pharmacy experience required
    • Adult medicine, ED and/or NICU practice preferred
    • Epic charting system experience required
    • Community hospital experience preferred
    • LTAC experience preferred
    • Trauma Level I experience preferred
    • Trauma Level II experience required
    • 40 hours of orientation required

    Required certifications:
    BCPS, Board Certified, Chemo/Hazardous Drug, IV Certification, BLS, PharmD


    • Must have experience with various pharmacy skills including ambulatory care, retail pharmacy, chemotherapy, pain controlled analgesia, and multiple medication systems
    • Experience required with anticoagulation therapy, clinical dosing, pediatric dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring, and emergency medication systems
    • Must be able to care for patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
    • Daily census of 200 patients in 320-bed facility
    • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
    • License must be in-hand before start date
    • Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
    • Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
    • Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start
    • Modules completed during orientation (2-3 hours average)

    Facility:
    This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center with 320 beds serving a daily census of approximately 200 patients.

    The facility provides trauma care services and maintains Level II trauma capabilities, with preferred Level I trauma experience for staff.

    The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services.

    The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and provides care across all age groups from neonatal to geriatric patients.
