Responsibilities
- Sure that all incoming materials ingredients and primary packaging and labels meet requirements expectations Obtain bill of lading packing slip for all incoming packages Quarantine all incoming materials to put on hold pending QC approval Compare the packing list certificate of analysis verify received product quantities identity Take steps obtain C of A if not received with shipment Inspect all materials prior unload visually inspect proper identification damage torn bags crushed boxes containers loose shrink wrap broken pallets leaking material pest infestation loads shifted pallet leading product damage sort Store relocate received products respective holding areas Responsible report any major minor food safety problems personnel authority initiate action Promote food safety quality awareness organization Assist other projects duties assigned Print retrieve open sales orders pick tickets order sales reports online internet site Company software Pick pack products according invoices sales orders Label corresponding packages prep shipment Maintain adequate stock packing boxes packing materials respective areas Maintain organized clean work area emphasis safety company standards
